Uses the currently selected reasoner to compute a selection of inferred axioms and saves them into a single ontology. This can be used to export the inferred class hierarchy to an ontology for browsing or for use in some Application that does not want to use a reasoner a runtime for example.
Display the Find/Search dialog for searching ontologies in the current workspace.
Saves all loaded ontologies into a single folder. This can be used to collect the imports closure of an ontology and save it locally in one place.
Shows a summary of the loaded ontologies, including their locations and allows several actions such as reload, close, and navigate to source.
Create a new empty ontology. A dialog box will be displayed that asks the user whether they would like to create the new ontology in the current workspace window or in a new workspace window.
Manage locations for commonly used shared ontologies to reside
Open an ontology that is stored in a local file. A file chooser will be displayed for selecting the file.
When you open an ontology in this way, the enclosing folder and its sub-folders will be searched for imported ontologies.
Open an ontology that is located on the Web by specifying the http:// URL (address) of the ontology document. You can also open bookmarked ontologies from here.
Displays a submenu with a list of recently opened ontologies. The list is limited to 10 items. To clear the list selected the “Clear” item at the end of the submenu.
Reloads all of the open ontologies from where ever they were loaded from. If an ontology has been modified a warning will be displayed indicating that any changes will be lost for that ontology.
Changes the IRI of the selected entity.
Save any open ontologies that have been modified to a local file. If an ontology has already been save to a local file it will be saved to that file, otherwise, the Save As file dialog will be shown.
Displays the file save dialog to save the current active ontology to a local file. This can be used to save ontologies that were loaded from the Web to a local file, or it can be used to save a copy of an ontology that was loaded from a local file. Only the active ontology is saved.
Loads the ontologies in the workspace into the selected reasoner for querying.
Flush any changes made to ontologies in the current workspace into the selected reasoner so that the changes are taken into account when reasoning is performed.
